The Regular Season in LNB just started. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.
Leones - Titanes 72-62 The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Titanes in Santo Domingo. Visitors were defeated by Leones 72-62. Juan Guerrero (205-1993) nailed a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and naturalized Spanish Eulis Baez (201-1982, college: W.Illinois) accounted for 6 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Richard Bautista (187-1997) came up with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and American Keith Jordan (198-1998, college: SHU) added 14 points respectively for Titanes in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Leones will play against Metros in Santiago in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Titanes will play on the road against Marineros in Puerto Plata and it may be a tough game between close rivals. Metros looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Marineros' players. Terry Larier fired 27 points for the winners. American Brandon Moss (208, college: LSUA) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. American Kerwin Roach II (192-1996, college: Texas) produced 21 points and naturalized American Luis Jacobo (196-1991, college: PFW) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Metros and five Marineros players scored in double figures. Marineros' coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Metros will meet Leones in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Marineros will play against Titanes and hope to win that game. Reales shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Rigoberto Mendoza (187-1992) fired 26 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Point guard Victor Martinez (185-1992) chipped in 18 points and 8 rebounds. Reales' coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Yeison Colome (190-1996) produced 25 points and 8 rebounds and American Curtis Hollis (198-1998, college: Hutchinson) added 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Reales will meet at home Indios in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Caneros will play against Soles in Santo Domingo and it may be a tough game between close rivals. Indios dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Soles' 28. They outrebounded Soles 45-25 including a 34-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. British center Kavell Bigby-Williams (211-1995, college: LSU) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 6 blocks for the winners and American Breein Tyree (188-1998, college: Ole Miss) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. Four Indios players scored in double figures. At the losing side naturalized American Gerardo Suero (196-1989, college: Albany) responded with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and American Tim Bond (201-1995, college: EMU) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Soles will play next round against Caneros trying to get back on the winning streak. Indios will try to continue on its current victory against Reales in La Vega.
